Allison Williamson is a dedicated soprano and trombonist originally from Colorado Springs. Ms. Williamson double-majored in Instrumental Music Education and Vocal Music Education at the University of Northern Colorado and has studied classical trombone for most of their life. With a wealth of experience performing both nationally and internationally, she brings a broad musical background to their teaching.
Specializing in opera, Ms. Williamson has performed major roles, including the role of Adina in Donizetti's Elixir of Love. This rich combination of vocal and instrumental training allows her to offer a well-rounded and holistic approach to music education.
In addition to offering instruction in brass and voice at intermediate and advanced levels, Ms. Williamson is also skilled in teaching all beginning instruments. With a strong passion for teaching, she focuses on fostering a love for music in students, while utilizing inclusive and modern teaching techniques. By continuing to perform and learn new teaching strategies, Ms. Williamson stays up-to-date with the latest education practices, ensuring a supportive environment where students thrive musically and personally.
